50 Flares Deep
A downloadable game for Windows
50 flares deep is a short, or long exploration experience, where you have a limited resource, which happens to be light. You only have 50 flares throughout the game’s entirety, so you should be cautious of using them too early or you will get lost in a void of nothingness.
A horror style game from the point of view of someone who has never really played a horror game and is spooked easily. For the past three weeks I have worked on developing this game, in the hopes of breaking the cycle of never finishing. This was a challenge, however I hope you have fun playing it.
Features :
- Throwing and dropping flares
- Getting lost
Controls:
- [WASD] to move
- [MOUSE] to looks around
- [SPACE] to jump
- [CTRL or C] to Crouch
- [LEFT CLICK] Throws flare
- [HOLD LEFT CLICK] Holds flare
- [RIGHT CLICK] Drops a flare
- [ESC] Menu/Pause

Very cool concept! I was expecting the flare to run out after a certain amount of time but its cool that you can hold it for a long time. And the countdown with the radio was a cool touch haha.
Thank you for playing and yeah I thought a timer for the flares would get in the way of exploration so they stay forever giving them more importance when using them.
The counter definitely got more spooks than i thought
What a fun game! I am for sure going to replay this, it looks like there are at least 20 Different Endings... I got the Endless Cave, and Laghing Butthole!
This is mind blowing thank you so so much for doing a video on my game haha I would not go as far to say 20 but at least 4 and technically one traditional ending where the game quits haha.
Fun fact about the game non of the space is faked it's all there and the void ending goes on for further and something at the end but I think I made it too big not even sure how long it takes could be an hour or longer haha
Made it so big to make you question how deep it goes so you question the rest of the space.
I don't want to spoil it but no nothing following anyone yet didn't have enough time with the deadline of 3 weeks i put on myself to implement it sadly.
